Peace Partners is delighted to host this event in conjunction with Festival of Peace Croydon.
Exploring the incredibly topical theme of gangs and conflict resolution, this forum aims to raise awareness of the issues and context surrounding gang violence and conflict in the UK, and discuss how peace and resolution tactics can support to counter this.
The event will include a screening of the film Peace is Inevitable (produced by The Prem Rawat Foundation), inspiring and informative keynote and guest speakers, along with a panel Q&A session, and music entertainment.
The film shares the experience of young gang members in Ecuador caught up in the pain of violent conflict with another gang and shows how they brought transformation in their lives, including making a lasting peace with the rival gang. You can watch a brief promotional introduction for the film here .
We hope you can join us in what is set to be a much needed discussion with passionate individuals. We hope this event marks the start of ongoing collaboration with other campaigners, organisations and groups, passionate about improving the life choices of young people. Peace Partners will be hosting workshops as a follow up from this forum.
